Job Description:

Job Summary
  • The Crew Scheduling Strategy Consultant is responsible for supporting Crew Scheduling Leadership in developing and maintaining their department business plans, supporting initiatives and understanding how the plans integrate with the overall Operational Strategic Plan. Additionally, the Strategy Consultant is responsible for supporting the Manager of Planning on Executive needs of the organization. This includes assisting with the alignment across the organization and cross functionally by identifying risks, opportunities, dependencies, and assessments of the department strategy, plan and critical initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Crew Scheduling Leadership and other departments to lead various activities required to assist in the ongoing development of the Department Strategic plan, associated portfolios, Technology roadmap/support and implementation of initiatives against the plan
  • Partner to ensure business alignment while driving analysis, recommendations and delivery
  • Business Plan development, maintenance and program management when necessary
  • Understands implications of department Strategic Plan and anticipates key opportunities, risks and dependencies
  • Significant collaboration with Leaders throughout the Crew Scheduling and related Operations organizations
  • Support the measurement of multiple strategic and cross functional opportunities and programs
  • Drive the research, analysis and development support for new business opportunities when necessary
  • May perform other job duties as directed by Employee's Leaders

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Strong knowledge of business plan development, maintenance, and opportunity assessment
  • Skilled in developing and delivering presentations to large audiences including Senior Leadership
  • Skilled in written and verbal communication including the ability to communicate complex issues in a structured and concise manner
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; experience with spreadsheets or other quantitative modeling
  • Ability to assume a high level of responsibility and to provide direction in a cross-functional, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to properly manage highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Ability to contend with a range and complexity of large business problems, develop plans, and drive initiatives to completion
  • Ability to understand high level corporate financial analysis and financial statements
  • Ability to partner and work effectively with all levels of management to develop and implement Company plans
Education
  • Required: High School Diploma or GED
  • Required: Bachelor's Degree

Experience
  • Required: Advanced level experience, seasoned and specialized knowledge in:
    • Developing and executing business plans
    • Working directly with Department Leaders (VP, Directors) on complex business issues
    • Developing and presenting recommendations to Senior Executives on self-created issues/opportunities
    • Managing all phases of large-scale programs, with special emphasis on complex business change
  • Preferred: Experience with Alteryx, data visualization tools (i.e. Tableau), and Agile/SAFe frame work and methodologies
  • Preferred: Skilled in forming and sharing presentations, particularly with executive leadership levels
  • Preferred: Experience in creating and building business cases
  • Preferred: Experience/background in data

Physical Abilities
  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job

  • Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
  • Must have the ability to properly manage highly sensitive and confidential information

Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $107,650 per year to $119,600 per
year* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individualcontributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at thediscretion of the company.
