Job Description:

The Video Computer Vision org is a centralized applied research and engineering team responsible for developing real-time on-device Computer Vision and Machine Perception technologies across Apple products. We focus on a balance of research and development to deliver Apple quality, state-of-the-art experiences. Our team prides itself on innovating through the full stack, and partnering with HW, SW and ML teams to influence the sensor and silicon roadmap that brings our vision to life.

Job Responsibilities:

• As a Software Engineer in this role, you will work closely with algorithm development and framework teams to understand algorithm design and architectural diagrams, and apply this information to design algorithm evaluation metrics and testing strategies.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

• C/C++ coding skills are a plus.


• Passion for quality, exceptional attention to detail.


• Ability to work multi-functionally with other teams and groups


• Strong practical knowledge of Python.


• Experience with computer vision related algorithm or projects


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, be able to describe and document clearly


• Familiar with SQL and databases


• Experience with SLAM or VIO algorithm..


• Experience with automation framework design is plus
