Position Summary:
Deliver various items to customers' homes or businesses. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety of others.
Essential Job Functions:
* Deliver customers' orders safely, quickly, and cheerfully.
* Help keep the parking lot clean and free from litter.
* Accept payments and keep proper change account documentation.
* Maintain delivery vehicle in safe, fueled, and clean condition.
* Keep vehicle maintenance records.
* Provide good customer and associate relations.
* Able to communicate with customers and associates.
* Make a clean, neat, and friendly impression on customers.
* Be prompt, tactful, calm, courteous, and professional in all interactions.
* Adhere to company policies and procedures, particularly in the area of maintenance of a work environment free of unlawful harassment or discrimination.
* Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
* Must be 18 years of age or older.
* Willing to work weekends and holidays.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to make intelligent decisions quickly.
* Able to calmly, courteously and tactfully handle stressful situations and make a positive impression on associates and customers.
* Able to read maps, signs, delivery orders, and product labels
* Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.
* Knowledge of the required delivery area and town.
