Job Description:


The AOG Sr. Coordinator is responsible for the tactical execution of day-to-day (24×7) AOG parts support for the Cabin Maintenance organization (domestic and international). This includes providing technical assistance in determining requirements; worldwide procurement and movement of parts; problem resolution; coordination with internal and external resources to achieve resolutions; thereby reducing the impact to our customers.

Job Responsibilities:



  • You will be joining a team of talented software and quality engineers, and you will be :

  • Hands on implementing and designing AEM solutions associated with product/project teams work streams

  • Transforming business requirements into conceptual/logical application architectures

  • Determining feasibility & scalability of AEM solutions, interacting with business and product owners in order to define technical solutions for customer problems

  • Production issue triage, management, and prevention as needed

  • Can architect and design solutions on Enterprise AEM based on business requirements

  • Technical definition and implementation for analytics, error logging/tracking, and other key functional customer interactions on delta.com

  • Technical debt resolutions, prevention & code reviews

  • Analysis and implementation of Performance/Stability/Reliability initiatives

  • Research & Development of POCs & innovative new ideas for customer interactions with Delta

  • Integration with latest UI frameworks like node.js, bootstrap and angularJS

  • Upgrade to new AEM versions


Job Requirements/Qualifications:



  • Must have previous experience as a Materiel Expeditor, Emergency Response Coordinator, Logistics or AMT experience. 

  • Must possess strong decision-making skills along with written and verbal communication, the ability to work harmoniously with a variety of people, both inside and outside the company. 

  • Must be able to prioritize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Should be able to perform very detailed work, with proficiency in analyzing and understanding technical manuals and documents, particularly the IPC, E.O.’s and ERA’s. 

  • Must have considerable knowledge of most phases of the Line & Hangar Maintenance operation, as well as material routing, storage, procurement and accounting procedures. 

  • Should have extensive knowledge of the ATA systems and their applications, as well as general knowledge of aircraft and engine systems. 

  • Should be able to master complex computer models of SAP, MIRS/GEM systems along with Microsoft Excel / Word, and business processes. 

  • Candidate should be highly motivated, self-directed, proactive, and have the ability to work effectively under pressure and time constraints. 

  • Embrace diverse people, thinking, and style. 

  • Consistently makes safety and security, of self and others, the priority.

  • (If transferring internally) Must be performing satisfactorily in present position.
