Patient Financial Services Representative - Now Hiring
Looking for a on-site patient financial services representative for a large medical company based in Renton, WA. Role is a contract role and pay is $20-22 an hour. Apply if interested.
Description:
Top Daily Responsibilities:
Self-pay collector, Accounts Receivables and Follow-up Knowledge for Government and Commercial payors. Daily customer/patient phone or e-mail interaction to educate, provide status and account resolution in a timely manner. Benefits knowledge i.e. Deductible, Coinsurance interpretation. Analytical problem solving skills. Detailed, thorough and innovative. Customer Service.
* Rarely needs to take a payment over the phone (As backup for Payment line).
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
1. Call Center Experience (6 MO- 1 YR)
2. Cash Posting
3. Basic Billing Exp.
4. Medical billing or medical coverage/registration, or Medical Insurance experience. MUST
Knowledge Preferred:
Epic, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook, Insurance payor sites, OneHealthPort, Multi line phone system.
experience in health care billing and experience working with following up on claims/denials
At least 1 year of billing and/or updating/adding insurance or registration information.
