You'll make an impact by:

Forecasting, Planning, and Analysis - Support forecasting, planning, and business analysis activities across the Asset Protection business. Independently drive analysis of business trends across our inventory loss / shrink lines to optimize the Operations P&L and drive savings activities in conjunction with our business partners.

Business Partnership with Asset Protection - Partner closely with the Vice President of Asset Protection and the direct report team for business analysis, forecasting, and annual planning. Analyze and present capital budget spend to ensure optimal investment choices.

Shrink Modeling - Drive financial modeling to evaluate category level shrink reporting, analyze unit impact vs. average retail impact and model geographic performance. Communicate analysis to senior leaders and build consensus view on prioritization of savings initiatives.

Manage Security and Accident cost spend - Forecast, plan and report on these SG&A lines, partnering with Sam's Club and Walmart Corporate teams. Work with regional field leadership and central operations teams to balance business needs and spend management. Analyze trends in accident costs and present actionable insights to field leadership to drive a safer environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and 2 years' experience in accounting, finance, or relevant area OR 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or related area
  • 1 year of experience with Data Analysis and Insights
  • 1 year of experience with Supervising Associates
  • 1 year of experience with Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Detail and results-oriented with sense of urgency
