WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are excited to hire a Finance Manager, Digital to our team! This role leads financial management for the Converse North America Digital Business (Converse.com). This role is a key partner to the North America Digital Leadership team, and will interpret and review financial results to drive against the marketplace strategy and long term, sustainable Converse growth. This role is responsible for forecasting, planning, identifying meaningful insights and providing strategic thought partnership. A successful candidate has a problem-solving mindset with experience influencing others to deliver results and determining the opportunity for growth via scenario planning and analysis.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
No two days are the same, but some of the exciting work you will do is:
Prepare and distribute timely and insightful financial analysis to determine progress against strategic plan, budget, forecast and to support external financial decisions.
Implement the monthly reporting and forecasting analysis, presenting actionable items to senior leadership using a framework that is based on data, insights, and action.
Perform analysis that aids in the decision-making process. Monitors monthly progress against budgets/targets and works with partners to ensure accountability.
Review key KPI results with senior leaders, including trends/issues and opportunities to drive responses.
Ensure business leaders are educated on use and interpretation of financial reports, metrics, and other key performance indicators.
Lead financial thought partnership cross functionally to support business decisions through financial modeling and scenario planning to optimize financial investments
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the North America Marketplace Finance Director, and partner with North America & Global FP&A teams, working closely with the North America CFO. As mentioned above, you will partner with and work collaboratively with the North America Digital GM & broader Digital team.
WHAT YOU BRING
Experience understanding the business and partnering with business leaders to create KPIs to understanding key drivers of the business
6+ years of experience in a finance
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills while being independent and resourceful
Success working in both a cross-functional role building partnerships across the organization, and independently
Advanced proficiency with Excel and strong PowerPoint skills
A client service approach
A desire to continuously explore, learn, and exercise intellectual curiosity
Bachelor's degree in a business-related field with emphasis in finance or accounting, or a combination of education, training, and experience
